Do you live or work in Fleckney? Would you like to have a chance to put your views forward about the future direction of your community? This is your chance to have your say about the future of Fleckney!
On the 20
th March all residents of Fleckney, young or old, are invited to hear about the process of completing a Parish Plan. Lizzie Clarke, Community Development Officer for the Rural Community Council (Leicestershire and Rutland) will be presenting the benefits of completing a Parish Plan in the Village Hall, 7.30 pm.
A Parish Plan is a unique community consultation document which will be designed and managed by you - the residents of Fleckney. The community consultation will enable a report to be produced that will identify action points for Fleckney. These action points will be supported by service providers such as the county council, East Midlands Development Agency and the Primary Care Trust. What’s more the action points will enable Fleckney Parish Council to have confidence to take forward new initiatives, identified and supported by you!
If you would like more information on the open meeting in March please contact Lizzie Clarke on 0116 2689716 or email: lclarke@ruralcc.org.uk.
